My name is Jenna, and I’ve been a massive animal lover since the time I could talk. I have over 20 years of experience with all kinds of animals, from personal pets, to volunteering at farms and animal shelters, and taking on fosters and rescues. I currently have a 5 year old border collie named Ally (who inspired the name Pawsitive Allies), a super sweet mini rex rabbit named Jinx, guinea pigs, fish, and a Fischer’s lovebird. In the past I’ve also had cats, rats, hamsters, mice, African dwarf frogs, and a bearded dragon.

In addition to rescue and caring for a wide assortment of animals, I am also very passionate about animal behaviour and training. I am a certified trick dog instructor (CTDI) through Do More With Your Dog and have achieved various trick titles with my animals. I also love to train in dog sports like agility, rally obedience, and scent work.

I’m a positive reinforcement based trainer and I am always happy to incorporate some training sessions into my visits and walks at no additional cost. Whether your goal is to improve leash manners, basic obedience, or teaching some fun new tricks, we can build on these skills one walk at a time! I am also pet first aid certified through Walks N Wags.
